UX/UI Designer

Job Overview
We are looking for a UX/UI Designer who is passionate about creating meaningful user experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving design solutions that delight our users.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute user-centered design tasks for digital products and services

  • Execute user research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, and contribute to their planning, analysis, and reporting

  • Develop user personas, journey maps, and detailed user flows

  • Design wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate user needs into design solutions

  • Conduct user testing and iterate on designs based on feedback and data insights

  • Maintain design consistency across products and contribute to the development of design systems

  • Present and explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications
Required

  • US citizen, eligible to obtain a security clearance (Public Trust)

  • 3-5 years of professional UX design experience

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a user-centered design approach

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and the Adobe Suite

  • Experience with design systems and component libraries

  • Advanced prototyping skills

  • Strong understanding of UX research methodologies

Preferred

  • Experience working with federal clients and understanding their unique requirements and constraints

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

  • UX certification

  • Understanding of analytics

Technical Skills

  • Interaction design, wireframing, and prototyping

  • User research and usability testing

  • Information architecture

  • Design systems and component libraries

  • Accessibility design standards

Soft Skills

  • Work well within a Design team: be a team player!

  • Empathy and user-centered mindset

  • Adaptability and openness to feedback

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
