New parents often need quick, trusted guidance outside traditional appointment windows. Pacify needed a digital platform that could connect families with qualified pediatric specialists in real time while keeping the experience simple, secure, and easy to use.
The challenge was to support both sides of the experience: parents seeking immediate help and providers managing consultations. The platform needed to handle account creation, specialist access, location-aware matching, audio and video communication, and compliance requirements without overwhelming users.

Mobomo developed Pacify’s two-sided application and provider platform using a scalable Ruby on Rails foundation. The solution supported parent and provider workflows, including account creation, subscriptions, specialist access, audio and video calls, location-based matching, and push notifications.
To support a subscription-based model, Mobomo integrated recurring billing and account management through the website and application experience. We also incorporated tools to support HIPAA-aligned workflows, provider access, and real-time communication between parents and specialists.
