With nearly four decades of experience spanning risk management, information technology, and strategic business development, Mr. Menendez brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of leadership in both the public and private sectors.
Mr. Menendez began his career at the United States National Computer Security Center (NCSC), where he contributed to the development of foundational technical guidelines for trusted systems, commonly referred to as the “Rainbow Series.” These guidelines remain an integral part of industry practices and certification preparation. Over the years, he has worked with global government and commercial clients, implementing innovative technology solutions that address evolving challenges while fostering regulatory compliance.
A seasoned executive, Mr. Menendez advanced to become Vice President and General Manager of CSC’s global security organization, overseeing the development and delivery of high-impact services across government and commercial markets worldwide. His portfolio extended beyond technology, as he demonstrated strong acumen in building customer relationships and driving strategic business initiatives to enhance organizational growth.
Mr. Menendez has also been at the forefront of emerging technologies, notably during his tenure at NEC Technologies, Inc., where he spearheaded the development and delivery of biometric solutions for industries including healthcare, finance, and social services. His thought leadership in the field has been recognized internationally, with features on ABC World News Tonight, CNN, and at prominent global conferences.
Beyond his technical accomplishments, Mr. Menendez is a dynamic leader known for his focus on employee engagement and his ability to inspire teams to achieve exceptional results. His adaptable leadership style and commitment to fostering trust and collaboration have enabled him to build and sustain long-lasting client relationships.
