To make these resources easier to access, FDIC needed a modern online ordering system where bankers, the public, and internal stakeholders could find, download, and request publications in multiple formats.

 

Mobomo helped build a secure, cloud-hosted ordering platform that simplified access to FDIC materials while giving internal teams better tools to manage products, orders, inventory, mailing lists, and reporting.

FDIC’s online ordering system needed to support a broad catalog of consumer, financial, regulatory, and internal-use publications. Users needed an easier way to locate and request materials, while FDIC teams needed stronger administrative tools to manage orders, inventory, mailing lists, and reporting.

 

The challenge was to create a secure, user-friendly experience that served multiple audiences without adding complexity. The platform needed to support both public access and internal operations, making it easier to distribute trusted information while maintaining control over products, formats, and fulfillment workflows.

Cloud hosted e-commerce

Mobomo worked with FDIC to develop a secure, user-friendly Online Ordering System using a Drupal Commerce solution hosted in the cloud. The platform gave users self-service access to browse, download, and order FDIC publications and products across multiple formats.

 

The administrative module gave FDIC teams the tools to manage orders, create and update products, maintain customer and mailing information, establish mailing lists, control inventory, and generate standard and customized reports to measure productivity and program effectiveness.

The Every Dose Every Day (E2D2) app is a user friendly, free app created by the CDC for people living with HIV. The purpose of the app is to provide hourly/daily/weekly reminders as necessary for taking medications, keeping track of appointments, storing lab results, and refill prescriptions for the user. The E2D2 app is secure and confidential, only storing the data in the user’s phone for their reference.
